You guys! We did it. We finished a one room challenge right before the cut off—yay! And we are so in love with the finished product. It has been an exhausting 8 weeks, but it was so worth it.

What we did:
Replaced the hardwood floors with new tile.
Demoed the tile in the bathtub and shower area and replaced with new tile.
Created tile shelves.
Removed the medicine cabinet.
Painted the ceiling white and walls flat to prep for the wallpaper.
Installed new pendant lighting.
Installed a new floating vanity….in which we hit a pipe (eeeek!). A bit of a hiccup, but we got through it eventually. *Sigh. When they say something always goes wrong in a remodel, that statement typically rings true.
Installed a new toilet and bidet.
Had a new vanity countertop fabricated from a local quartz/granite store.
Installed a new shower door and matte black fixtures.
Took a long nap!!!

These towels from Unison remind me of a bath towel I used to use at my Grammy & Grandpa’s house and immediately give me pangs of nostalgia.

Building in the tile shelves added some additional headache, but we’re happy we decided to go for it.

My wonderfully creative sister-in-law painted this watercolor moon for my husband and I for our wedding. It’s the moon on the night of our wedding.

Reminder of where we started. Feeling very grateful for how far we’ve come!
