JENNY WILLIAMSON
FOUNDER / CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER

Born and raised in Reno, NV, Jenny Williamson studied, lived and worked in Santa Barbara, Honolulu and San Francisco until returning back home to the Reno/Tahoe area with a mission to make her local mountain and lake homes as stunning as their natural settings.

Interior design is a second career though “design” has always been a guiding light throughout her life and career. Whether she was winning the “prestigious” Washoe County School District bookmark contest in 2nd grade, working as an Advertising Art Director for a magazine publisher in Honolulu or creating graphics and visual merchandising for a billion dollar beauty brand in San Francisco, creativity is at her core.

In 2019, she followed a lifelong passion and established her own Interior Design firm, West Rose Design (named after her littles) and has since worked on a wide variety of projects from building homes from the ground up to full scale remodels to complete home furnishings.

Jenny’s unique background and avid global travels inform her design, giving her an editorial eye for distinctive furnishings, art and accessories for each and every home she works on. She believes that changing your home can change your life and specializes in transforming everyday spaces into your favorite spaces, inviting families to gather and grow.

Jenny holds an AS degree in Communication Arts from Honolulu Community College and a BA in Fine Arts and English from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She lives in Reno, NV with her husband, two kids and golden retriever pup, Tessie.

JACQUI HARMS
LEAD DESIGNER

Jacqui Harms started her first renovation project at the ripe age of five-years-old. She grew up in a family of builders in Oregon and was exposed to the building development process all the way through finishing interiors right from the start. You could say she has design in her blood.

After graduating in 2000 with a BA in Design, she designed and built custom homes with her husband over the course of the decade. Nothing gets her more excited than a fresh set of plans in the morning. On renovation projects, she will keep you inline with the integrity of your home, always honoring the architecture and back drop of each individual space. Her goal with all renovations is that visitors will never know where the new area starts and stops—all should flow seamlessly between the old and new.

During her extensive design career, Jacqui has brought projects to fruition all over the US and abroad. Her building background eventually developed into an expertise and passion for everything “attached to the house”—therefore, she’s known far and wide as a “surfaces specialist” or, one may say, a “slab savant”.

Jacqui has been in Reno since 2012 and loves the variety of architecture and vast landscapes we enjoy in the Sierra Nevadas.
