One Room Challenge Spring 2022 Week 1: The Room & Vibe

Cheers to the start of another One Room Challenge and a challenge I can hopefully complete this time. Our Fall 2020 challenge is still waiting to be completed. Because…well, life. And mainly life with toddlers. And lots of illness in our first year of preschool. I hear from lots of parents with toddlers that the first year of their kids going to school is spent being more sick than they have ever been in their lives. My family is RIGHT there riding that sick train. Literally have been sick almost the whole month of March. Even though things are crazy right now, we’re still attempting to makeover our guest bathroom. This week I'm sharing the room and a flat lay of some of the items we’ll be incorporating (above). Be sure to check the official participants and the guest participants on the ORC blog.

The Room:
Our guest bathroom is actually very widely used in our house as we only have 2 bathrooms. So this little beauty serves as both the guest bathroom + my husband’s bathroom (yes, we have used separate bathrooms since we moved in together) + our kids have decided they prefer this bath tub to the master bath. She’s small, but mighty. And in desperate need of a remodel. She’ll be getting a full makeover and I think it will have a fun reveal...stay tuned.

And get ready! Here are some pics the bathroom in all of its glory before... AND, this isn’t even the before before when we moved in. I lost the original photos on a corrupt external hard drive, which is a true travesty. Because this baby had those tear drop gold faucets and lime green paint prior to us painting and replacing the majority of the hardware.

Those 90’s gold shower doors though! Beauties.

She’s a real looker! Woo.

“The medicine cabinet of my dreams” - said no one ever.

I’m SCARED.

Stay tuned for next week when I’ll share the demo and design plan!
